Permarescue

Objectives

A            To apply the principals of Permaculture as outlined in “Permaculture A designers’ Manual.” By Bill Mollison.

B             To apply, research and functionally evolve such strategies to ”Catastrophe Management.”  Defined as; to prevent, prepare, respond and recover from events that have the potential to lead to total collapse of existing command and control structures, where restoration is improbable and/or undesirable.

C             To guide action globally and at the regional level through such strategies and mechanisms for cooperation for disaster risk reduction, as appropriate, in the light of the present United Nations Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030, in order to foster more efficient planning, create common information systems and exchange good practices and programmes for cooperation and capacity development for the highest good of all, in particular to address common and transboundary disaster risks.

D            To collaborate with defence forces, volunteer firefighter’s, emergency managers and others, in the design of course curriculum for Catastrophe Management, with associated software support, to facilitate the training of personal to respond to events with a focus of “The only real security is a secure society of interdependent people, thus the only real defence is effective aid to others.”

E             To acquire land for the purpose of establishing communities    that will operate in accordance with these objectives.

F             To apply “The Five Agreements” espoused by Don Miguel Ruiz, namely:

  1. Be impeccable with your word.
  2. Don’t take anything personally.
  3. Don’t make assumptions.
  4. All ways do the best you can.
  5. Be skeptical and learn to listen.
